Stretch Mark Removal

Stretch marks are more common in women but can also affect men. In our experience, stretch marks often cause self-esteem problems and can occur anywhere on the body where the skin has become stretched. Thankfully stretch marks can be significantly reduced using The Grove Clinic’s class-leading fractional laser treatments.

LASER STRETCH MARK REMOVAL

When the skin is stretched for too long, it leaves visible lines on the skin’s surface. Occurring anywhere there is a tear in the skin’s dermis; this may be due to rapid growth in puberty, rapid weight loss, pregnancy, or during growth spurts. Stretch marks are more likely to be visible in those with a lighter skin type. The most common areas are the stomach, breasts and upper arms.

I’ve been a client for some years and always leave my treatment feeling happy. The staff are friendly and helpful - they really put me at ease and make my time at the clinic enjoyable. Most importantly for me, the results are amazing. I’m not interested in going anywhere else for my treatments, I’m happy to continue to be a returning customer.

have a question?
How does laser treatment reduce stretch marks?

The Grove Clinic uses the advanced LaseMD ULTRA laser, which delivers short bursts of energy into the dermal scar tissue created by stretched skin. This process breaks down old tissue while stimulating new collagen production, ultimately improving both the texture and tone of the skin and making stretch marks noticeably less prominent.

How long does a session take, and how many will I need?

Sessions are typically efficient, lasting around 30 minutes, though times can vary depending on the area being treated. For most patients, a course of 4 to 8 treatments is recommended to achieve the best results.

What can I expect after treatment—does it involve downtime?

Post-treatment, most clients experience mild redness and slight swelling, which generally subsides within 3 to 4 days. You can return to your normal routine immediately following treatment.

When will I see results—and are they long-lasting?

Results build cumulatively—hit collagen stimulation gradually enhances skin quality over time. Many see improvements after the first few sessions, with optimal outcomes emerging after completing the full course. Treatment effects may continue to develop for weeks to months as the skin naturally heals and renews.
